Drawing from his own lived experience of surviving and escaping the cages of fundamentalist dogma, Wouter writes high-octane cyber-occult thrillers that challenge institutional authority and explore the relentless collision of modern technology and ancient magic.
Currently based in Xi’an, China, he spends his time decoding historical grimoires and expanding the expansive, multi-novel universe of The Brotherhood Chronicles. His work is driven by a singular, defining philosophy: True morality is choosing to do good simply for the sake of being good, not out of fear of a tyrant’s Hell.
